Logic Squad designs and implements web applications using Apple's WebObjects framework. With PostgreSQL as a back-end database, and the mature, robust WebObjects framework, we can produce reliable, scalable web applications in short order. Among our developers, we have over 15 years of experience with WebObjects and various back-end databases.

Private Bed Finder is a healthcare-related service that matches patients, doctors, and private hospital beds. Logic Squad designed and implemented the back-end software used by Private Bed Finder to co-ordinate the specialist roster, private hospital bed availability, and the live calls from emergency department doctors looking to place insured patients. The multi-user application has interfaces for telephone operators that take bookings, administrative users, and nominated staff from the destination hospitals that provide bed availability updates. The system automatically generates notifications via email and SMS messaging for both successful and unsuccessful outcomes. End-of-month invoicing functionality is built-in. The application has been in live, daily use since December 2009.
Logic Squad is working with Dr. Sepehr Shakib to create a web-based version of his popular Auditmaker tool for conducting clinical audits. Auditmaker began as a Microsoft Access-based database application, but quickly outgrew the limitations inherent in Access. In particular, clinical audit generally involves the co-operation of multiple users, often over multiple sites. Auditmaker is now a multi-user web-based application running on WebObjects and PostgreSQL. It is currently in the private-beta phase of development.
Reminder Message provides a web-based front-end for sending messages via SMS. In the configuration displayed, Reminder Message is set up for a small business which provides appointments for customers. Because missed appointments incur a significant cost to the business, a simple text message to the customer's mobile phone a day or two prior has proven to be very effective. The application is easily customised to provide the user with additional fields and presets. Here we see options for sending an appointment reminder, an overdue account reminder, and a free-form message. Reminder Message has been in continuous daily use since July 2008, and has sent 20,000 SMS messages via Internode's NodeText Gateway.
